The Joyful Holidays of Kira

Kira was a 10 year old girl. Her Holidays had just started. She was busy in her packing for going to her grandma’s house who lived in Kashmir . Kira was very excited to visit her Grandma and was more happy to see the new dog which her Grandma had recently bought for her. Her mother asked her to go to her bed and sleep .

Kira was really very happy. She bunked to her bed and slept. It was early morning Kira took her suitcase . It was time to leave , she said bye to her mother and went .

It was a bright sunny day. Kira was ready too . A driver was called and she was going with her father. They were on a their way. After sometime they stopped at a restaurant for lunch. It was evening. Kira and her father reached at her granny’ s home. They gave horn to call her granny.

“Wait for a second I am coming”, her granny came out with the little puppy. Her granny helped with the light luggage. Kira said “what a cute puppy, come here”. The puppy ran towards Kira. The pup was very playful, it’s name was Bruno.

Kira and her father went inside the room , the dinner was served, and the room was made warm as Kashmir ‘s weather was always cold as usual. It was bedtime. Kira slept with her granny. In the morning her father left for home. Kira was playing outside with the dog. Suddenly her Grandma called her for something. She left the dog out.

A man took the dog . When Kira returned she saw the dog had disappeared.
They both were looking for the pup , “Bruno !! Bruno !!” they shouted , worried and scared. Her granny was very worried. Her granny went inside .Kira was sad for not taking care of the dog and for disappointing her granny. She also went inside it was night she went to her room to sleep . But she couldn’t sleep , she took the torch and went outside to search for the dog , when suddenly she saw muddy footprints, they were big . She followed the footprints . They were going to the jungle , she was not daring to go inside the jungle as wild animals could be there she returned to her granny’s house and slept .

In the morning she got fresh and had her breakfast, said to her granny that she is going for a walk. She took a flashlight and wore her warm clothes and went , actually she was going to find her pup . When suddenly she heard someone in the neighborhood shouting my dog my dog !!!!! . Kira followed the footprints . She went inside the jungle she was scared but she had to find her pup and make her granny happy . She was following the footprints. She went inside the deep jungle.

She was still following the footsteps . Suddenly she saw a man carrying a dog , to a big hut , Kira suspected the man and start following the man.

Kira was walking after him. When the man felt that someone was watching and following him then he suddenly looked back, no one was ,the man took a pistol out of his pocket and walked to the hut. The man put the dog inside the hut and went down the hill again , Kira waited for a while when the man again came up the hill and once again he put a dog inside the hut. Kira was scared .

Kira ran out of the jungle and told her granny about what happened . Kira and her granny went to the police station. Kira explained everything to the police and requested them to come with her , the police agreed to go with them . They walked to the jungle up the hill and took them to the hut . When they reached there, there was no one except another dog and Bruno. When Kira saw Bruno , she ran towards the dog and hugged him. Just at that time the man came inside and he was arrested by the police. When Kira’s granny saw her she said with a great shock “Ram lal !!!” Kira asked her granny who the man was and how she knew the man.

He once used to be a worker in my house , but one day I saw him stealing my jewellery. I reported to the police they arrested him but he ran away . Suddenly Ram Lal said in full anger I wanted to take revenge by selling your most dearest thing , he is the dog which you love the most, I was just going to sell him but you and this girl caught me again. Granny and Kira returned home with Bruno . Kira really enjoyed her holidays. And this was the end of the holidays of Kira .

It was really an adventure, she said and left for her home saying bye to her granny .
