The Chocolate Land

Once  in a village Rampur there lived a girl whose name was  Priya. She loved to play and dance. She also loved to eat chocolates, cake and cookies . Her mother always said,” Chocolates and Sweets are not good for health.” She was an intelligent  girl. Her father and mother loved her very much. 

One day she was reading a fiction book . Plot of the story was quite weird. She was drowned in the book. She wanted to go there .

One day while coming back from school she asked her friends about such weird lands. Her friends assured her of such lands. She told herself one day she would definitely reach her dreamland.

In a few hours something different than the usual time happened, it was not lesser than wonder. Hazy dusk is lost in the darkness of night.  Soon  screams of laughter were heard, Priya got afraid.

A spectacular bright screen was there with a soothing  sound “Don’t be afraid Princess.” Priya said,” who is this”.” Princess, I am the door who will let you enter in your dreamland…the land of Chocolates” replied Screen.
“From where will I enter?” asked Priya.
“Princess don’t be hasty, first you give answers to my three questions , then only I will show you the Path” said  Screen.
“Okay!. you start asking”, Priya said, as she was super excited to visit the land of wonders.

First question on screen was –“ It can see , but it isn’t an eye” . What is it ?
Priya got puzzled as she guessed KEYHOLE.
Thunderous applause….. made Priya more confident.

Then she reached the second question.. which was flashed on the screen.
“ I have hands but cannot hold a thing” ?
Priya just started recalling her Maths class, the same question was asked by her Maths teacher. She replied ,” Clock”.
Thunderous applause. Priya smiled.

Last question flashed on Screen.
“ Feed me, and it will give me life. But give me a drink , and I will die?”
Priya remembered her mother who used to say to put water in the furnace, to switch it off. She replied “ Fire.” Thunderous applause with showers of flowers, made Priya more confident and crazy for dream land.

Soon Screen converted to a Castle Door. Priya stepped into the Door. She was shocked, a beautiful place, everything was chocolaty….. river of chocolates, hills , flowers, trees everything was of chocolates. Priya stepped forward and saw people working in the field were also Chocolate Men. 

They stared at Priya  and acclaimed,” Princess”. One of the Chocolate men said “Ma’am, please taste your new products.   They offered her various chocolates. She picked one and as started eating, she heard a very rough, known voice.

“Priya Get up ,it’s too late for school, you are going to miss school bus.”  Mom here in chocolate land” said Priya.
“No dear you are in your Bed and going to miss your school today” said Mom. 
”Oh I was in my dream land in my dreams.” Said Priya. 

“Soon your mother will get 10 chocolates for you now you get ready dear” said Mom.  Mom is there any Chocolate land….asked Priya. “ Your teacher will let you know,’ said mom. Get ready now…”
